Need to Know
What are my options to ski / ride Vail on the Inspire Pass?
The most economical option is to purchase an Epic Pass for the 2026-27 season. A same-day lift ticket for Vail was $307 on March 30, 2026.
Your least-expensive choice is the Epic Day Pass, which allows you to choose between 1 and 7 days of lift access at Vail (and all other Vail Resorts ski areas) with the “all resorts” option.
NOTE: Epic Passes go OFF SALE in late Fall, typically by the first week of December. DO NOT wait until 2027 to purchase an Epic Pass. PSIA-AASI will not be able to help you secure discounted lift access if you wait until the time of the event.
Why do PSIA-AASI members need a Level 3 to attend the full event (All-In Pass)?
“Interski” is the international association for snowsports instruction, comprised of 42 nations. Every four years, the community gets together for the Interski Congress, a global event to exchange knowledge about education in snowsports and developments in the industry. The event has a high-level focus and is developed specifically by and for the demonstration teams and educational leaders of the national associations.
Less about personal development and more about organizational innovation and evolution, the Interski Congress is a platform for snowsports leaders from around the world to share their best methodologies and learn from each other to advance the profession as a whole. Therefore, on-snow and in-classroom education sessions are extremely limited in capacity. Additionally, on-snow workshops require the ability to proficiently ski or ride all terrain on Vail Mountain in all conditions.
Just 1,400 All-In passes are available worldwide with only 300 allocated to PSIA-AASI members, as we anticipate more than 1,000 international attendees.
How do I submit an idea for a speaker or on-/off-snow education session?
The leadership of each national instructor association has the official education guide detailing requirements and the submission process. If you have a speaker nomination or feel you are the right person to submit a proposal, please reach out to them for information. Please note that educational sessions are largely run by association leaders and National Team / Demo Team members.

What is the Interski Pass cancellation policy?
Registrants may cancel for a 100% refund through January 31, 2027. A $250 cancellation fee per person will apply to cancellations made between February 1–28, 2027. No refunds will be issued for cancellations received on or after March 1, 2027.
How do I reserve discount event lodging?
Once you purchase your Interski pass, you will receive a link to the discount lodging options and how to reserve each. This link will be available after June 1, 2026.
Is there a rental equipment offer?
For attendees and guests who would like to rent skis or a snowboard, boots and/or helmet and poles, you may do so beginning November 2026. A special booking link will be provided at that time with multiple location options throughout Vail. Individuals will be responsible for reserving and paying for their own equipment. We do not have 2026-27 winter season pricing at this time.
Please DO NOT plan to rely on demo equipment; there will not be enough.
At this time, we do not have information on Nordic or telemark rentals.
I am a cross-country skier. Do I need lift tickets? Where will my on-snow activities take place?
YES, you need lift tickets.
Vail Mountain will groom Nordic trails near the summit, which you will access via uploading and downloading lifts and/or gondola. The Vail Nordic Center will not be open.
What are transportation cancellation policies?
IF YOU BOOK AN EPIC MOUNTAIN SHUTTLE: A $10.00 per person cancellation fee for each direction of travel, if canceled outside of 24 hours. Reservations are non-refundable if canceled within 24 hours of scheduled pick-up time.
IF YOU BOOK A PRIVATE VEHICLE: A $75.00 cancellation fee if canceled outside of 72 hours. Reservations are non-refundable if canceled within 72 hours of scheduled pick-up time.
You must handle cancellations on your own via the company you booked with. PSIA-AASI / Interski does not manage transportation reservations.
How many days of lift access do I get with the $775 All In Pass?
The passes with lift access provide 6 days at Vail and Beaver Creek. Choose the pass without lift access if you plan to have an Epic Pass for the 2026-27 season.
If you want to ski or ride more than 6 days, consider purchasing an Epic Day Pass in advance; it will be much cheaper than individual day tickets.
What are hotel cancellation policies?
Each hotel has its own policy. Please inquire when you make your reservation.
You must handle cancellations on your own via the hotel you booked with. PSIA-AASI / Interski does not manage lodging reservations.
What are my options to bring a guest?
Guests are welcome to purchase the Inspire Pass. Discount lift tickets and meal plans are for full Interski attendees, only.
Can I volunteer at Interski?
Bringing this event to life will take a dedicated team of approximately 150 volunteers. While many will come from Vail’s local event community, we are also opening opportunities to PSIA-AASI members nationwide. Volunteer registration opens June 1, with selections finalized by August 1. Additional details coming soon.

How to ski or ride more than 6 days
We understand that many of you may plan to arrive early or stay after Interski to enjoy additional ski days. For those interested, Vail Resorts offers a few options.
The most economical: Epic Day Pass (All Resorts option)
The Epic Day pass gives you 1-7 days of lift access at Vail. It will also provide access to Breckenridge, which should still be open for skiing and riding in April. Choose the number of days you need and pay in advance to avoid high day-ticket rates.
IMPORTANT: This pass requires advance purchase! Epic Passes go OFF SALE in late Fall, typically by the first week of December. DO NOT wait until 2027 to purchase an Epic Pass. Interski will not be able to help you secure discounted lift access if you wait until the time of the event.
You may also purchase day tickets after you arrive. Note that day-of prices could be more than $300 per person, per day.
